Maryam Ahmad

Maryam Ahmad is painter and childrens book illustrator. She is 46 years old and perceives art in a unique way. According to her “the beauty and interpretation of  art is in the eyes of the beholder, what can be just a dot to me, can hold immense meaning to someone else” Maryam has been practicing art ever since she could hold a pencil! This showcases her passion for art. Art inspires her to strive and push herself to do better. She aims to spread joy and happiness she feels while creating art with others. She does so in her paintings by using cheerful themes and color schemes which can light up a smile on a beholder's face on a gloomy day.
